About Activ-OT

Our team have jointly been working in a number of care homes within the last 2 years implementing the 'Living well thorough activity in care homes' toolkit, and building our knowledge and experience within our business partnership 'Activ-OT'.

In order to maintain quality occupational therapy, we are working between statutory and private services. Our availability is shown in the table on the right.

Donna Hedges

Donna Hedges - Activ-OT

I qualified in 2005 with a BSc. (hons) degree in Occupational Therapy at Canterbury Christ Church University. I have over 10 years' experience working within an acute setting. For 5 of these years I have been a clinical specialist in orthopaedics with special interests in spinal injuries and amputees.

Kelly Park

Kelly Park - Activ-OT

I qualified in 2003 with a BSc. (hons) degree in Occupational Therapy at Canterbury Christ Church University. I have over 13 years' experience working within an acute setting. I have experience working within elderly stroke rehabilitation and continue to pursue my interests in elderly care.

Retainer Information

Negotiable on-call availability. This will require a monthly fee to provide a timely service at short notice according to the needs of the client. We currently have two levels of service, Gold service would be a 48-hour response and silver would be up to 7-day response. The usual hourly rate will apply but will incorporate a monthly fee based on your service requirements.

We can offer an on-call service to support urgent assessments and admission avoidance interventions.
